How to Apply — Step by Step
The entire process is online and free on the official portal pminternship.mca.gov.in. Follow these eight steps from account creation to joining.
1. Create your account
Register on pminternship.mca.gov.in using your mobile number and email. Verify with the OTP sent to you.
2. Complete your profile
Fill in personal, educational and eligibility details exactly as they appear on your official documents.
3. Upload documents
Add your Aadhaar, educational certificates and an Aadhaar-linked bank account for Direct Benefit Transfer.
4. Choose companies
Browse openings and shortlist up to five preferred internships that match your skills and location.
5. Submit your application
Review your preferences and submit before the cycle deadline. You’ll get a confirmation on the portal.
6. Verification
Your profile and documents are verified by the system and the partner company.
7. Selection
Shortlisted candidates are matched to companies and intimated through the portal and email.
8. Offer letter & joining
Accept your offer, complete onboarding formalities, and begin your 12-month internship.
Application checklist
- Aadhaar card and Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- Educational certificates / mark sheets.
- Bank account linked to Aadhaar for stipend transfer.
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- A shortlist of 5 roles matching your skills and preferred location.
